A sweepstake is a race, gambling game or lottery in which the winnings comprise all the money that has been staked. The rearrested suspected Ibadan serial killer, Sunday Shodipe, has revealed he escaped when given opportunity to bathe at the Mokola Police Station on August 11. A police corporal was reportedly shot dead after gunmen invaded a police station at Ikolaba area of Ibadan, Oyo state capital, on Friday. The deceased was among officers on duty when the attackers struck. Some other police officers were said to have sustained injuries in the incident which took the policemen by surprise.
