150 SANs to defend CJN at tribunal

FG sets date for minimum wage bill

Federal government has finally set a date for the transmission of a bill for a new national minimum wage, a move aimed to stop organised labour from starting a strike about a month before a presidential election. Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr Ibrahim Idris has appointed Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Mr Frederick Lakanu as the new Force Secretary and member of Nigeria Police Force Management Team. Strike action: FG, ASUU reach agreement

Federal government has reached an agreement with striking university lecturers, raising the possibility of ending the teachers’ prolonged industrial action.
