Leadership of Ondo state House of Assembly has suspended two lawmakers for unruly behavior. The affected lawmakers are Deputy Speaker of the house, Mr Iroju Ogundeji, and another member of the House, Mr Adewale Williams. Ogundeji is one of the lawmakers who dissociated themselves from the impeachment process of Ondo deputy governor, Mr Agboola Ajayi In another development, Majority Leader of the Assembly, Mr Jamiu Maito has resigned. Ondo State House of Assembly has commenced impeachment proceedings against deputy governor of the state, Mr Agboola Ajayi, over alleged gross misconduct. Court dismisses suit against Oshiomhole

A High Court in Abuja has dismissed a suit filed against immediate past Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Adams Oshiomhole and three others. The suit, filed by Mr Mustapha Salihu and five others, is one of which the court granted an interim order on March 4, 2020, suspending Oshiomhole from further acting as APC’s National Chairman.
