A high court in Rivers state has restrained Mr Victor Giadom, national secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC), from parading himself as acting national chairman of the party. Obaseki formally joins PDP with appointees, supporters

Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has formerly joined Peoples Democratic Party. The governor made this known on Friday afternoon when he led some of his appointees and supporters to PDP secretariat in Benin-City. The leadership of PDP had on Wednesday met with Obaseki who is seeking a second term in office. Edo 2020: PDP considers waiver for Obaseki, postpones primary election

National Working Committee of Peoples Democratic Party held a meeting in Abuja over the Edo State chapter of the party. Court of Appeal has upheld suspension of Mr Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC). A three-member panel of the appeal court affirmed the suspension on Tuesday in Abuja. In a judgment delivered by Mr Mohammed Lamido, the court dismissed Oshiomhole’s appeal for lacking in merit.
