Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the final list of candidates for the September 19 Governorship Election in Edo State. The commission disclosed this in a statement issued by Mr Festus Okoye, INEC National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, in Abuja on Saturday. The list of the 14 political parties published by the commission shows that 12 out of the 14 governorship candidates were male while two female. A High Court in Abuja has dismissed a suit filed against immediate past Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Adams Oshiomhole and three others.
