Tinubu sweeps Ogun, wins all 20 LGs

Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has emerged winner of the presidential election in Ogun State. Tinubu polled a total of 341,554 votes across the 20 local government areas in the state to emerge victorious. Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has won the presidential election in Osun State. Atiku won in 20 local government areas with a total of 354,366 votes to defeat his closest rival, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 343,945 votes and won in 10 local governments. Peter Obi in early lead in Plateau

Peter Obi, Labour Party Presidential Candidate, is leading Atiku Abubakar, his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rival, with 45,297 votes in results of seven Local Government so far declared at the Plateau State collation centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Donatus Mathew of the Labour Party (LP) as the winner of Saturday’s election for the Kaura federal constituency seat in Kaduna state. Elijah Ella, the INEC returning officer, announced the result in Kaura on Sunday. Mathew polled 10,508 votes to defeat Gideon Gwani of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who got 10,297 votes.
