Bandits kill another 20 in Katsina village - Police

Gunmen killed at least 20 people in attacks in Kadisau village, Katsina state, police and residents said on Wednesday. Hundreds of people have been killed in the last year by criminal gangs carrying out robberies and kidnappings in northwest Nigeria. In May, the United Nations said the violence had forced about 23,000 refugees to across the border to the north into Niger. How Boko Haram deceived us before killing over 70 people - Survivor

One of the persons who witnessed the attack on Faduma Kolomdi village in Gubio local government area of Borno state on Tuesday has narrated how the insurgents deceived villagers before they struck. Recall that over 70 people were killed in the attack. Over 70 killed as Boko Haram attacks Borno communities

More than 70 persons were reportedly killed after Boko Haram fighters invaded Faduma Koloram village in Gubio local government area of Borno state on Tuesday. The insurgents, who stormed the village in gun trucks and motorcycles, also carted away many cattle. President of the Customary Court in Taraba State, Mr Donatus Shidda, has been kidnapped. Gunmen kill 21 in fresh attacks on Zamfara communities

At least 21 people have been killed by gunmen in separate attacks in Talata Mafara and Maru local Government Areas of Zamfara state, police and residents said.
