Gunmen have kidnapped four persons, including a captain of the Nigerian Army, identified as D. Gana, along Kabba-Auga-Akoko expressway in Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State. The army captain and others, abducted on Tuesday, were said to be travelling from Abuja when they ran into the ambush laid by the kidnappers. Police in Kaduna State on Tuesday confirmed the killing of 15 persons by suspected bandits in Gonar Rogo village in Kajuru Local Government Area of the State. Armed bandits Saturday attacked communities in three local governments of Katsina State, killing 47 persons. Katsina State Police Command confirmed the early morning attacks and the casualty.
